Job summary

Ornua in Hilbert, Wisconsin is seeking a Production Associate on the 3rd shift. You will flex to multiple areas, open barrels, weigh ingredients, and help move cheese through the line. This role requires lifting up to 60 lbs, standing for long hours, and adhering to GMP and HACCP standards.

We offer full-time hours with a base rate of $20.50/hr and a 15% shift differential to $23.57/hr. The work environment includes cool and warm zones, PPE, and opportunities for growth within a global dairy

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
• Stand/walk for 10 consecutive hours.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Basic math skills.
• Willingness to work in a food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Flex to multiple areas to fill in as needed.
• Open barrels, blocks, or bags of cheese and other ingredients.
• Ensure recycling and garbage in the plant are emptied to allow smooth production.
• Weigh ingredients to the specified amount per individual batch sheets.
• Use knives and wires to cut and trim ingredients to correct weights.
• Place bags of cheese into boxes and send through for taping and boxing.
