Job summary

nVent is seeking a Quality Inspector - Night Shift to ensure quality of fabricated components, pre-assembly, and received materials while maintaining safety standards during night operations. You will inspect processes to meet customer specifications and coordinate with ERP/quality systems.

The role supports fabrication, receiving, pre-assembly, and shipping activities on non-day shifts, requiring autonomous work, strong reading of drawings, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Experience using ERP/quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Quality inspections of in-process, pre-assembly, and final products to ensure conformance to drawings and quality requirements.
• Audit pick lists and shipments for accuracy.
• Provide on-shift safety leadership during night/weekend operations and enforce safety programs.
