Kelvion is seeking a Quality Supervisor for the night shift to lead the Quality Control Department. The role combines floor supervision with training of inspectors and adherence to established quality processes and drawings.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with 5+ years in a QC supervisory role, experience with ISO 9001, and knowledge of NDT. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and a scheduled night shift from 5pm to 3:30am, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years as Quality Control Supervisor.
• ISO 9001 environment experience preferred.
• NDT Certification preferred.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervisor will be on the floor providing supervision and working with material/product 80% of time, 20% office duty.
• Training of all quality Inspectors.
• Perform other related duties as directed.
• Create a positive team atmosphere within the department.
• Provide leadership by example to the departmental team.
• Responsibilities, as assigned by the Quality Manager, will include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Caries out inspection and test activities per quality plans to ensure product meets requirements.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspection and/or testing of materials and products to determine compliance.
• Record results to show product inspection/testing status.
• Handle nonconforming product per work instructions and quality procedures.
• Read and interpret Engineering drawings and Customer specifications.
