Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Quality Inspector II for the Monday–Friday night shift in Tampa, FL. You will follow GMP, review batch records, and conduct in-process inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with SOPs.

You will work with manufacturing teams to perform sampling, line clearance, and investigations, maintaining documentation and contributing to quality metrics while upholding GxP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical/FDA regulated facility experience.
• Ability to read and understand SOPs.
• Be able to follow written and verbal instructions and read SOPs.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail is critical.

Responsibilities

• Follows SOPs and review batch records to ensure GMP compliance, accuracy and accountability.
• Monitor in-process inspections and maintain proper documentation practices.
• Identify suspect material and perform segregation per instructions.
• Verify batch documents for product, lot numbers, expiration dates and components.
• Perform AQL sampling and document inspection results.
• Conduct line clearance duties and shift verification.
• Pull in-process sampling and deliver accordingly.
• Collaborate with Materials Management, Contract Manufacturing, Engineering and Validation.
• Inform departments of potential nonconformances and assist investigations.
