Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Quality Inspector II for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 11:00 pm–7:30 am) in Tampa, FL. The role ensures quality product and batch records from manufacturing, evaluating quality issues with Manufacturing and QA to uphold GMP standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing batch records, performing in-process inspections, and assisting with investigations and documentation to release products for Quality Assurance release.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.
• High School Diploma Required.
• Ability to work well with people and independently.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and read SOPs.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail is critical.
• Maintain QC, line clearance and visual inspection certifications.

Responsibilities

• Follows SOPs and reviews batch records to ensure GMP compliance, accuracy, completeness, and accountability.
• Monitor and conduct in-process inspections in the manufacturing area with proper documentation.
• Identify suspect material and perform segregation procedures as instructed.
• Check batch documents for product, lot number, expiration dates and components.
• Perform AQL sampling and document inspection results in batch records.
• Perform LOTO, product inspections, and line clearance duties per procedures.
