Job summary

NOW is seeking an Inspector I to sample and inspect in-process materials, finished products, and incoming materials. The role may be assigned to different QC inspection areas based on department needs, including overnight shifts.

The candidate will perform raw material evaluation, review COC/COA, conduct in-process testing, and ensure GMP/SOP compliance. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Zero to two years related inspection experience preferred.
• Familiarity with GMPs and SOPs is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; good writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs raw material evaluation on all incoming shipments and obtains representative lot samples.
• Completes necessary documentation and Oracle entries.
• Samples incoming raw material and incoming packaging components upon receipt in warehouse.
• Reviews COC/COA of incoming material and/or packaging components as needed.
• Reviews documentation for completeness and compliance with GMPs and SOPs.
• Performs random in-process testing to verify operator’s results.
• Releases materials for use and reviews documentation for completeness.
• Communicates problems/out-of-specification issues to supervisor/lead and operations personnel.
• Assists supervisor/lead in conducting investigations.
• Performs AQL inspections on bulk or packaged product, as needed.
• Places product on hold status to investigate quality issues.
