Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Production Operator to perform quality checks on manufactured products and visually inspect in-process materials. You will manage traceability data, assist with machine setup, and follow written specifications in English.

The role requires reading and understanding procedures, working with the team, and performing overtime as needed in a production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• 1+ years related work experience and/or training, preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Process Inspector conducts quality checks on the produced product to ensure there are no visible defects
• Visually inspects in-process/finished material while operating - informs designated teammates of any machine malfunction or defective product
• Accurately manages traceability information, production information, cleaning documentation, and safety check documentation in the company system with a detail-oriented and quality-focused approach
• Starts machines, observes for correct operation, adjusts, and starts general troubleshooting as needed
• Moves empty and full bags/totes/boxes to and from the machine, adds labels/weighs product/verifies count/adds to box/inserts into shipper as needed, and stacks onto pallet
• Practices department's medical manufacturing and housekeeping procedures and complete cleaning verification checklists as required
• Read, write, comprehend, and follow specifications, procedures, and instructions written in English
• Collaborate effectively with team members, utilizing strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive and productive team environment
• Assist with other duties as assigned with or without accommodation
• Work overtime as required
