Job summary

Actus Nutrition seeks a Quality Assurance Technician for the Jerome, Idaho West plant on the nights shift (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM). The role includes performing lab tests, documenting results, and ensuring GMP compliance, with a $24.24/hour base rate plus $1.50 night differential.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of lab experience in a food-grade facility, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site position with a rotational night schedule.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in a food-grade facility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks online and communicate results to production.
• Document results, audits, and test results accurately.
• Conduct and interpret lab tests and prepare samples for shipment.
• Assist with inventory control and ensure GMPs are followed in the plant.
• Perform routine maintenance on lab equipment and troubleshoot issues.
