Job summary

Actus Nutrition is seeking a Packaging Operator for the Jerome West Plant to operate and monitor packaging lines during the rotational night shift (5:00pm-5:00am). The role is on-site in Jerome, ID, full-time, with a night shift differential.

You will package products to specifications, perform quality checks, and maintain strict 5S and sanitation standards while documenting all production activities. Join a team focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Willing to roll up sleeves and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, start up and shut down packaging equipment.
• Package products to established quality, weight, and production specifications.
• Perform required quality checks and promptly identify, report product deviations.
• Inspect packaging materials for accuracy, condition, and suitability before use.
• Monitor product coding to ensure accurate identification and traceability.
• Calibrate and monitor weight scales, metal detectors, and other inspection equipment.
• Make computerized weight adjustments and equipment calibrations as needed.
• Operate the palletizer and stretch-wrap machine safely and efficiently.
• Complete production, quality, sanitation, and equipment records accurately and on time.
• Meet established production targets and document downtime or reasons targets were not achieved.
• Complete assigned sanitation duties and maintain a clean, inspected-ready work area in line with 5S standards.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, workplace safety, regulatory, and plant policies and procedures.
• Immediately report safety or quality concerns to the supervisor.
