Job summary

bioMérieux in North Carolina is seeking a QC Analyst 2 to perform routine Biochemistry testing during the night shift (7:00pm–7:30am) on a 2-2-3 rotation. Responsibilities include training others, data entry in LIMS, and adherence to GLP/GMP standards.

Strong documentation and quality mindset are essential. The role requires 4+ years in a regulated Biochemistry/Chemistry lab; a high school diploma is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 4+ years of related experience in a regulated Biochemistry or Chemistry lab with GxP testing.

Responsibilities

• Participates as a trainer for QC testing and instrument maintenance.
• Troubleshoots simple to moderate Biochemistry lab equipment issues.
• Ensures all testing documentation is completed accurately and timely per SOPs and GDP requirements.
• Ensures review of laboratory testing is compliant with SOPs and completed on time.
• Maintains compliance with SOPs, GLP, GMP, and HSE requirements.
• Prepares for regulatory, customer, and internal audits of Biochemistry lab areas.
• Executes laboratory investigations as assigned by management in compliance with procedures.
• Enters data into LIMS and supports LIMS maintenance and validation activities.
• Assists with revisions to QC SOPs as directed by management.
• Ensures training is maintained to current processes and uses PPE appropriately.
• Participates in improvement initiatives and supports validation protocols for biochem equipment.
