Job summary

bioMérieux in Durham, NC is seeking a QC Analyst 2 for night shift (7:00pm–7:30am) on a 2-2-3 rotation to perform routine Biochemistry testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in a GMP/GLP environment. You will train teammates, troubleshoot equipment, ensure SOP compliance, enter results into LIMS, and support regulatory audits. Requires 4+ years in regulated biochemistry labs; a HS diploma is required; a Bachelor's is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 4+ years of related experience in a regulated Biochemistry or Chemistry laboratory (FDA, ISO, GMP) with GxP testing.
• Bachelor's degree highly preferred in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biomedical.
• Experience with data entry and analysis tools (LIMS) and advanced technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Testing of raw materials, intermediates, special test requests, and finished product samples per SOPs.
• Investigational writing of INVALID reports.
• Provide input and support for Out of Specification reports.
• Serve as a certified trainer for laboratory testing as applicable.
