Job summary

Schreiber Foods in Beloit, WI is seeking a Plant Quality Assurance Lab Technician to support the Laboratory department with analytical testing, data entry, and routine QA/QC duties on a 2-2-3 schedule (6pm–6:30am).

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in food production QA or lab settings, strong attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced dairy environment. Training provided; benefits begin on day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Associate degree or coursework in Food Science, Chemistry or Biology preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Laboratory department by performing and coordinating laboratory processes.
• Register and prepare samples for general analytical testing through data entry, weighing and homogenization.
• Prep and perform routine to more complex analyses per approved methods.
• Accurately read and record results, ensuring ID matches samples.
• Operate basic laboratory equipment (balances, pH meter, colorimeter, spectrophotometer, autoclave, evaporator).
• Prepare and assure accuracy of standards, reagents, etc. for analyses.
• Document QA/QC data and report to lead or management.
