Job summary

OmniForce Solutions seeks a Manufacturing Quality Shift Lead to oversee QA on the night shift at the Humble, TX facility. You will lead QA inspectors and lab technicians, ensure product quality during production, and support auditing and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a quality role within a manufacturing environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of quality standards and inspection practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor QA inspectors and quality lab technicians on the night shift.
• Assist the Quality Manager with scheduling quality personnel.
• Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Perform in-process, final product, and shipping inspections and audits.
• Perform incoming inspection and testing of raw materials.
• Test finished resin batches against company specifications.
• Work with Production to resolve quality issues quickly.
• Escalate critical quality concerns and discrepancies to the Quality Manager.
• Maintain electronic and hard-copy records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
• Prepare and submit quality reports.
• Assist with developing and revising work instructions and SOPs.
• Participate in internal and external audits and support corrective actions.
• Serve as backup for QA inspector, lab technician, and resin blender roles.
• Identify process improvement opportunities with cross-functional teams.
