Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester, Virginia, is seeking a Registered Nurse II for the Pulmonary Care unit on the third shift. The RN will apply the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, coordinate patient teaching, and support quality and safety initiatives within a collaborative health team.

Applicants should have an Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) or RN Diploma; BSN is preferred, and an RN license with BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required (RN Diploma, ASN or ADN).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, evaluation and documentation.
• Ensure quality communication, teamwork and leadership/professionalism.
