Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse II to join the Nursing Float team (Women's and Children) for the third shift. The RN will perform the full nursing process, coordinate care, and lead patient teaching while maintaining professional standards.

Virginia/West Virginia licensure eligibility and BLS are required, with BSN preferred for advancement. Experience targets 1872 hours (936 if BSN) with a mandatory RN license and ongoing competency requirements.

Qualifications

• RN license required with eligibility to practice in Virginia/West Virginia
• BLS certification required; ACLS for Labor & Delivery preferred
• Experience to RN II level with required hours and performance evaluations

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, evaluation, and documentation
• Deliver quality communication, teamwork, leadership, and patient education
• Ensure quality/safety initiatives and collaborate with health team members
