Job summary

Southridge Behavioral Hospital in Byron Center, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our new, state-of-the-art psychiatric unit on a 16-week temporary assignment. The role requires leadership of the care team and coordination with interdisciplinary staff to deliver safe, patient-centered care on the 7pm–7:30am night shift.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold a Michigan RN license, and have at least three years of psychiatric healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.
• Experience: A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• License: Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Michigan required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Oversee and direct Mental Health Technicians to ensure patient safety and care needs are met.
