Job summary

Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary 16-week assignment on 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7:30am) with every-other-weekend rotation. Psychiatric experience is required, and a Michigan RN license is mandatory.

This position is not eligible for standard benefits due to its temporary nature, but offers premium pay of $70/hour. Responsibilities include nurse-to-nurse assessments, internal assessments, and delivering care to patients with co-occurring

Qualifications

• Experience caring for patients with co-occurring disorders.
• Nurse-to-nurse assessment and coordination withInternal Medicine as needed.
• Ability to assess, plan and deliver psychiatric and medical care.

Responsibilities

• Complete nurse to nurse assessment with other healthcare facilities and communicate with Internal Medicine as needed.
• Complete internal nursing assessments.
• Competent in assessing, planning, and delivering care for patients with co-occurring disorders.
• The nurse continually assesses and reassesses the patient’s medical and psychiatric status and changing needs.
• Participates with other team members in planning and implementing the patient’s treatment plan.
• Works with both adult and adolescent population.
