Job summary

Cedar Creek Hospital in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 16-week temporary assignment on 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm to 7:30 am) with an every-other-weekend rotation. This position requires a current Michigan RN license and psychiatric-specific experience.

You will complete nurse-to-nurse assessments, perform internal nursing assessments, and deliver care for patients with co-occurring disorders while coordinating with the treatment team for both adult and adolescent

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Michigan required
• Previous psychiatric experience required

Responsibilities

• Complete nurse to nurse assessment with other healthcare facilities and communicate with Internal Medicine as needed.
• Complete internal nursing assessments.
• Deliver care for patients with co-occurring disorders.
• Assess and reassess the patient’s medical and psychiatric status and changing needs.
• Participate with team members in planning and implementing the patient’s treatment plan.
• Work with both adult and adolescent populations.
