Job summary

The position reports to the Safety and Training Coordinator within the Production department. Responsibilities include developing programs, coaching employees, and maintaining training records to support production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trainer certification in any subject is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in training, mentoring, or supervisory roles is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and update materials: develop presentations, manuals, checklists, and hands-on exercises for all production roles.
• Cross-train employees on different machines or processes to boost flexibility and career growth.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to improve performance.
• Maintain accurate training records, including certifications, completion dates, and assessments.
• Assess effectiveness of training programs with the Training Coordinator and management.
• Stay current with industry best practices and process changes to improve the curriculum.
• Collaborate with Training Coordinator, Production Supervisors, Maintenance and Quality teams to ensure on-the-job training aligns with goals.
