Job summary

LiDestri Foods in Rochester, NY is seeking a Production Support candidate for the 12 hour night shift (6pm–6:30am). Provide assistance to production workers, ensure correct ingredients are delivered to the production area, remove debris, and support CIP to maintain process cleanliness and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including bump cap, hair net, ear plugs and gloves.
• Ability to apply basic math, communication skills, and reasoning.
• Ability to use various tools such as band cutters, dump tanks, tote hoists, knife and scales.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet daily production demands.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate ingredients to production area.
• Handle products on production line.
• Package materials.
• Box and unbox goods and remove debris.
• Assist with CIPs as required.
• Relieve operator when needed.
• Perform SOPs for assigned work areas.
• Maintain GMP standards around machinery.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Work safely per company policies.
• Report food safety and quality problems to appropriate personnel.
