Job summary

LATICRETE International is seeking a Plant Supervisor for our Grand Prairie, TX facility. This role oversees floor operations on a 2-2-3 schedule (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), ensures safety, quality, and productivity while coordinating with planning and maintenance teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of plant experience, familiarity with JD Edwards, and strong leadership abilities to drive performance and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years plant experience.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Able to utilize math to perform basic weights for formulas.
• Able to read and interpret directions and order details.
• Able to communicate both in writing and verbally.
• Proficient in all plant equipment or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using ERP system (JD Edwards).
• Proven ability to learn new computer skills and programs.

Responsibilities

• Floor Supervision: oversee silo and raw materials, review schedule, ensure PPE and tools are available.
• Housekeeping: maintain worksite cleanliness and equipment cleanliness.
• Staging and Shift Handoff: lead shift meetings, prepare materials, document handoff.
• Quality Control: ensure materials are non-expired, adjust batch as needed, verify quality.
• Equipment & Materials: escalate maintenance needs, shortages, failures, repairs.
• Leadership: manage timecards, assign tasks, train new team members, balance workload, supervise when needed.
