Job summary

The Production Supervisor plans and manages the day-to-day allocation of resources for designated shift to efficiently, safely and cost effectively achieve performance targets.

They also ensure quality, housekeeping, and hygiene standards are maintained, review targets, mentor team members, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field required and 5–7 years supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree, aseptic experience, bilingual Spanish, and LEAN manufacturing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
• Achieves budgeted targets for yield, labor, and packaging materials for the shift.
• Ensures accurate production reporting and conducts daily shift meetings.
• Maintains GMPs and housekeeping at high levels within the department.
• Collaborates with cross-functional groups to meet production targets.
• Oversees shift training and drives productivity, quality, and safety improvements.
• Manages shift production priorities and timekeeping; resolves issues promptly.
