Job summary

Reschcor in Bristol, IN, is seeking a Management-level supervisor to oversee extrusion manufacturing on a 12-hour shift (5:45 pm - 6:00 am). This full-time role focuses on safety, quality and productivity while fostering a strong team culture.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience, preferably with plastics, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Lean/Six Sigma is a plus; IQMS ERP proficient. Training and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years manufacturing supervisory/leadership experience.
• Experience in plastics preferred but not required.
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Proficient with arithmetic, algebra, statistics, and metrology including rulers, tape measures, and calipers.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• MS Office with ability to work in IQMS ERP.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering documents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective employee relations and coaching.
• Make employment decisions following HR protocols.
• Complete performance reviews in a timely fashion.
• Participate in hiring while mentoring team members.
• Balance safety, quality, productivity and morale.
• Support and maintain continuous improvements.
• Assist with daily production requirements and reporting.
• Participate in safety systems and QMS.
• Assist with troubleshooting machinery/equipment.
• Deliver training plans to grow and develop team members.
• Manage time and attendance records and time off requests.
• Handle disciplinary actions and daily production reporting.
• Optimize labor to maximize machine utilization.
• Follow up on production and quality issues with Production/Quality Managers.
• Work hands-on in a fast-paced environment; maintain Regular Attendance.
