Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation in Anderson, SC is seeking an ambitious Production Supervisor to lead multiple production teams and drive a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, manufacturing experience, and the ability to use KPIs to improve performance and efficiency. You will report to the Production Manager and oversee daily operations to meet production goals with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar environment.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and production performance metrics.
• Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and production reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are achieved.
• Supervise, coach and develop production employees to drive performance, accountability and employee engagement.
• Monitor and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including safety, productivity, quality, schedule attainment, etc.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and improve operational performance.
• Coordinate with Production Management, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehousing to meet production schedule and customer requirements.
• Communicate production priorities, performance expectations, and business objectives to employees in a clear and consistent manner.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures and quality standards.
• Conduct performance discussions, attendance reviews, corrective actions, and employee coaching sessions in partnership with Human Resources.
• Support workforce planning activities, including training, onboarding, scheduling and cross-training of employees
• Promote a positive work environment that values safety, teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
