Job summary

U.S. Boiler Company in Lancaster, PA is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to lead union hourly workers in the manufacturing of parts while ensuring conformance to safety, quality and delivery standards.

You will supervise and mentor staff, coordinate production schedules, maintain production records, and drive improvements in efficiency. Hours are Sunday 8:30pm–5:00am and Monday–Thursday 6:30pm–5:00am, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• One to three years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises employees according to company policies and procedures; interviewing, hiring, training, assigning and directing work; performance appraisal and discipline as needed.
• Ensures all operations comply with safety, quality, environmental and administrative guidelines.
• Engages daily with employees to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery & Value results are achieved.
• Maintains time and production records and coordinates with other departments to meet deadlines.
• Coaches, mentors and develops personnel, including other leaders; may support projects in operations.
