Job summary

TekniPlex is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Van Wert, OH facility on a night shift (4:30pm–5:00am) with a rotating 2/2/3 schedule. You will plan and direct 40+ employees, ensure safety, quality and productivity, and drive continuous improvement with leadership across teams.

The role requires 5 years’ manufacturing leadership, strong communication, and coaching ability; Spanish is a plus. TekniPlex offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities in a global healthcare and consumer

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management.
• Strong verbal and written communication; interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate work; train and motivate forming employees; ensure SAFETY in operations.
• Directly supervise 40+ employees on shift.
• Identify production problems and take corrective action.
• Maintain shift reports and ensure materials and supplies are on hand.
• Maintain staffing to support manufacturing mission in a SAFE, efficient manner.
• Interview and hire forming employees; mentor shift leads.
• Collaborate across departments to implement improvements and cost-saving ideas.
• Maintain knowledge of processes and equipment; ensure SQF/HACCP compliance.
