Job summary

CSP (Teijin Automotive Technologies) in Carey, Idaho, seeks a Production Supervisor to direct manufacturing activities and coordinate efficient production meeting safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives under the Operations Manager.

The role requires planning and directing shift and weekly production, analyzing requirements, and supporting continuous improvement. A bachelor’s degree and five years of supervisory manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Management preferred or HS Diploma/GED with related experience.
• At least five years of production and/or supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct short term production functions to meet schedule, quality and cost goals.
• Analyze production requirements and problems to implement corrective actions.
• Provide planning input to longer term planning based on performance, staffing, and equipment availability.
• Review cost and schedule data to monitor productivity and implement improvements.
• Enforce work rules and practices across staff.
• Delegate work to subordinates to ensure efficiency and timely completion of tasks.
