Job summary

The Pictsweet Company seeks a Production Supervisor to lead our frozen vegetable processing teams in Ogden, UT. This graveyard shift role supervises production, sanitation, and coordinates with maintenance and warehouse operations to ensure efficient plant performance.

Responsibilities include staff training, performance evaluation, safety and GMP compliance, and timely reporting. Strong communication and bilingual abilities are a plus. Bachelor’s degree preferred."

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers including email, spreadsheets and database software.
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to work with numbers and interpret charts/graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense to instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and sanitation teams to meet production goals.
• Coordinate between Production and Warehouse to meet forklift and operator requirements.
• Report accidents, complete incident reports, and ensure drug tests.
• Ensure forklift operators complete daily checklists.
• Review QA paperwork for compliance with procedures.
• Annotate downtime, identify causes, and generate work orders as needed.
• Coordinate with PKMS for product usage and resolve production/warehouse issues.
• Conduct food safety and personnel safety training.
• Maintain forklift certification and operate equipment.
• Oversee training for production positions and conduct performance appraisals.
• Enforce safety and GMP policies and procedures and maintain attendance.
• Follow SOPs, employee handbook and food safety guidelines.
• Inspect repack, warehouse and maintenance areas for orderliness.
