Job summary

The Pictsweet Company is seeking a production supervisor to oversee the activities of production workers involved in receiving, sorting, preparing, and processing vegetables for freezing. You will supervise stations, coordinate machine setup, and ensure schedules are met.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience, strong people skills, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. Rotating shifts and compliance with safety rules are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Excellent people management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of general safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assigns workers to stations and issues instructions.
• Directs setup and adjustments of machines.
• Establishes or adjusts procedures to meet production schedules.
• Coordinates flow of work between stations.
• Informs workers of production changes.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Maintains time and production records.
• Trains new employees on their responsibilities.
• Enforces company policy and safety rules.
• May administer discipline under HR direction.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
