Job summary

The Pictsweet Company in Ogden, UT is seeking Sanitation Specialists for our vegetable processing facility. This role maintains clean and orderly work areas and supports food safety by following GMP, HACCP, and company procedures.

Shifts run 2:00am to 6:00am. You will steam and wash production lines, floors, drains, and equipment, and you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to climb steep stairs to the mezzanine.
• Must be able to read or interpret documents such as safety rules/ signs, procedures, etc.
• Must be able to repetitively bend, stoop, squat, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods in a cold, damp environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and steam clean all parts of production lines, including dumpers and belts.
• Clean floors and drains using hoses, brooms and squeegees.
• Steam clean floors and sanitize machines, walls, and floors.
• Wash grates, drains, and other equipment.
• Return steam cleaner to maintenance area weekly for PM.
• Clean offices, bathrooms, hallways, dock, and other common areas.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures including SOPs, Food Safety and Quality Procedures, GMP Handbook and HACCP.
• Other duties as assigned.
