Job summary

Pilgrim's is hiring a Production Supervisor - Deli Wog to ensure procedures are followed and productivity stays high while meeting customer specifications. The role requires willingness to work night shift and to supervise teams in a fast-paced poultry environment.

You will train staff, schedule manpower, monitor safety and quality, and collaborate across departments to pursue cost efficiency and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of supervisory experience.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Experience leading 20+ employees.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Capable of independent decision making.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Able to work assigned hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop employees to maximize quality and productivity.
• Plan and schedule manpower, materials, products and machines to use policies and procedures effectively.
• Manage employee performance with positive and/or corrective feedback.
• Promote department and company goodwill through proactive communication and involvement.
• Investigate quality improvement, cost reduction and maintenance needs with other departments.
• Promote safety throughout the area where the crew works.
