Job summary

Marmon Industrial Energy and Infrastructure East Granby is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a production team in a 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM shift, Sunday night through Friday morning. You will ensure safety, quality, schedule adherence, and efficient operation of the work centers, while coaching staff and coordinating with planning and HR as needed.

The role calls for 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, a 2-4 year engineering/manufacturing technology degree preferred, and

Qualifications

• Equivalent experience of 3 - 5 years minimum within an industrial manufacturing environment, in a supervisory capacity.
• 2 - 4 year degree in engineering of manufacturing technology preferred, but will consider equivalent proven work experience.
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills, organization and problem solving ability, verbal and written communications skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify unsafe conditions and eliminate safety hazards.
• Staff each workcenter based on workload and meet workload planning goals.
• Train and cross-train operators to meet schedules and improve efficiency.
• Organize each work center to achieve maximum efficiency and maintain housekeeping disciplines.
• Measure operator efficiency, track attendance, and coach for success.
• Coordinate with Planning to ensure accurate and realistic schedules.
• Maintain safety and compliance with rules and contractual provisions.
