Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is hiring for a manufacturing technician to set up, run, and maintain production equipment on a night shift. You will load and monitor processes, ensure product quality, and help keep a clean, safe facility.

The role includes operating heavy machinery with proper training and teamwork across departments. Responsibilities include equipment troubleshooting, log maintenance, and collaboration with other teams to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing/distribution environments.
• On-the-job training will cover safety, quality procedures, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate paint making control systems and high-speed dispersers and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Break down and clean equipment, including pumps, tanks, valves and lines.
• Package and label filled containers to specifications.
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality.
• Follow policies and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain logs, perform minor repairs, and report breakdowns promptly.
• Record production data and assist with reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time.
• Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies.
• Provide technical support and training to teammates.
• Suggest improvements to manufacturing procedures.
• Keep tools and work area clean and organized daily.
