Job summary

LyondellBasell in Akron, OH is seeking a Production Operator for the 3rd shift (midnight–8:00 AM) to monitor plant equipment, troubleshoot processes, and ensure safe, reliable production. The role requires HS diploma, English communication, and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents, write routine correspondence, and speak English.
• Pre-employment screening including employment history verification, background check, physical and urine drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot equipment used during daily manufacturing.
• Perform changeovers and disassemble/assemble/clean machinery.
• Understand and execute daily production run schedules and report quality issues.
• Stage packaging area and assist with loading and distribution of product.
• Operate forklift to transport raw materials and finished product.
