Job summary

LyondellBasell Industries in Akron, OH is seeking a Production Operator for the 3rd shift (Midnight - 8:00 AM). You will monitor and operate plant equipment, perform routine maintenance, and document key operating parameters to ensure safe, efficient production. Candidates should have at least 6 months in production, a high school diploma or GED, and basic math/computer skills.

SAP familiarity is a plus. Responsibilities include changeovers, material handling, packaging, and enforcing LOTO

Qualifications

• 6 months+ production/manufacturing experience
• Must read and interpret documents, write routine correspondence, and speak English
• High school diploma or GED required
• SAP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot plant equipment to maximize reliability and quality
• Perform changeovers, inspect machinery, and assist with maintenance
• Follow safety procedures and record production data accurately
• Stage materials, operate forklift, and manage raw materials per SOPs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and tools
• Support other personnel and departments as needed
