Job summary

Omya, a leading mineral company in Vermont, seeks a Production Operator to set up, run, and test production systems and machines. You will uphold Omya's values, ensure quality, and maintain safety standards while supporting daily goals.

You will operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts; conduct shift inspections; document key parameters; and coordinate with Maintenance and other teams to minimize downtime and sustain continuous production flow. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training is a plus.
• Proven proficiency with heavy machinery operation.
• Strong reading and comprehension of procedures; ability to troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate production machinery to meet daily/weekly goals.
• Test systems and products to ensure quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and collaborate with Maintenance team.
