Job summary

SONOCO CANADA in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Production and Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain high-speed packaging equipment on the night shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to meet customer specs and ensure quality.

Responsibilities include disassembly/rebuilds, equipment inspections, parts replenishment, data entry for shift handoff, tool management, and rotating through all workstations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge required.
• Ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, adjust, and repair production equipment to meet customer specs.
• Disassemble, overhaul, and rebuild production equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting on production equipment as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Inspect in-process materials and finished product.
• Replenish supplies, materials, parts, and tooling for the area.
• Access and input data from the computer; communicate to next shift.
• Supply and maintain required hand tools; assist with housekeeping.
• Rotate through all workstations as needed.
