Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in New Jersey seeks a production supervisor to ensure timely, accurate finished goods production and inventory integrity, while coordinating backorder reduction and on-time delivery. You will lead a team and mentor staff, managing SAP and Catalyst workflows to meet production schedules and service levels.

The role includes creating paperwork, regulatory compliance, and performance management to keep the workforce motivated and aligned with company goals.

Qualifications

• SAP and Catalyst experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of production experience.
• Experience as a department lead or supervisor is a plus.
• At least 1 year of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate product processing.
• Monitor backorder reports and production scheduling; coordinate resources to minimize backorders.
• Ensure overall quality of produced items.
• Create inventory transfers and production orders to meet schedules and service levels.
• Prepare all necessary paperwork and ensure electronic receipt of finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory functions.
• Maintain inventory integrity for components and finished product.
• Communicate backordered or substitute items with product divisions.
• Provide back-up on production equipment, material handling and warehouse.
• Develop and mentor staff through onboarding, training and performance management.
