Qualifications

• Six+ years of related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Knowledge of production scheduling.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
• Heavy equipment or automotive manufacturing experience at the management level.

Responsibilities

• Oversees plant production by observing activity and setting standards to ensure production and quality needs are met.
• Direct Production Supervisors and Team Reps to foster employee involvement and lean practices.
• Develop and maintain budgets, approve expenditures, and manage operations within budgets.
• Ensure master production schedules are met and that units meet quality standards.
• Assist in developing new methods and procedures to reduce manufacturing costs.
