Job summary

AJM Packaging Corporation in Joplin, MO is seeking a Production Foreman to lead a high-speed manufacturing team on the 11:30 PM–7:00 AM shift, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires supervising staff, coordinating machine staffing, and driving uptime, process discipline and continuous improvement while adhering to PPE, GMP, LOTO and SQF standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of high-speed manufacturing experience preferred.
• Three years or more of supervisory experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure team follows PPE, GMP and LOTO procedures.
• Review and manage team to ensure quality in form, fit, function, and SQF manufacturing.
• Manage staffing of machines and placement of personnel to maximize uptime and efficiency.
• Supervise staff including assigning work, providing instruction, and conducting performance input.
• Track inventory levels and procurement recommendations for supplies and parts.
• Provide ongoing training to increase knowledge, skills, and abilities.
