Qualifications

• Experience in poultry and/or protein processing preferred.
• Bachelor's or associate degree highly preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Proven supervisory/management experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to build and interpret Excel spreadsheets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead a diverse workforce across multiple levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, solve problems, and make decisions independently on shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the night shift operation and accountability for shift performance.
• Supervise and develop shift supervisors with coaching and feedback.
• Plan and prioritize production activities to meet goals and cost targets.
• Coordinate startups, shutdowns, and changeovers for seamless shift transitions.
• Drive throughput, yield, and order fulfillment goals.
• Ensure finished product meets customer quality standards and expectations.
• Partner with HR on staffing, interviewing, onboarding, and training of supervisory personnel.
• Enforce SOPs, JSAs, and all plant policies.
• Minimize waste and identify opportunities to reduce production costs.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors, plant management, and cross-functional teams.
• Complete shift documentation and reporting accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
