Job summary

Flora Food Group in Hugoton, Kansas, is seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead the hourly union team on the night shift. The role focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency, driving performance and continuous improvement to ensure product integrity across all lines.

You will partner with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and Planning to meet daily targets while upholding our commitment to sustainable, responsible food production.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in manufacturing (food manufacturing preferred).
• Experience managing unionized workforce and labor relations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily allocation of equipment, personnel, and materials to meet production goals safely and efficiently.
• Lead and develop hourly union employees through hiring support, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Champion Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality standards, ensuring full compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity, reduce waste, and enhance operational performance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and Planning teams to resolve issues and achieve plant objectives.
