Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a Production Laborer for a night shift role. The position offers cross-training across melt, furnace support, ladle, and packaging areas, with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Cross-functional exposure supports development toward operator positions in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This entry-level role requires willingness to work 11:00pm–7:00am, adhere to PPE rules, and participate in training across multiple operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to safely operate industrial equipment after training.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.
• Ability to work varying shifts, overtime, weekends, and 12-hour schedules.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and wear PPE; promote a safe work environment.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Report accidents and safety concerns immediately.
• Operate forklifts and production equipment after training.
• Load, unload, transport, and stage materials.
• Read work orders and quality requirements; follow instructions.
• Assist furnace and ladle operations and related production activities.
• Build and verify material charges; operate belt and mold systems.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks; document results.
