Job summary

Very Good Manufacturing is a high-speed beverage production facility in Fort Worth, Texas. We run contract production for leading alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage brands.

Our lines are designed for bottling and canning, with an on-site R&D lab for private label ideas. This part-time, evening role sits in the Quality department and focuses on keeping the production floor clean, following a nightly checklist, and logging activities.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You show up on time, every night you are scheduled. Reliable transportation, and a plan for the night the car won't start.
• You clean the same when nobody is checking.
• You read the label before you mix anything, and you ask if you are at all unsure.
• You can work from a written checklist, and fill it out clearly, leaving notes as applicable.
• You are comfortable on your feet for the full shift, pushing a mop, a cart, or a floor scrubber.
• You have commercial cleaning or janitorial experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean the production floor: Sweep, scrub, and use the walk-behind floor cleaner around all production lines after shutdown.
• Collect and dispose of all trash and cardboard. Every trash can is emptied and relined, cardboard brokendown and baled, the dock area and dumpsters kept squared away.
• Clean and restock the restrooms, break room, offices, front entry.
• Follow and initial the nightly cleaning log as you finish each area.
• On most nights you are the last person to look at every corner of this building. Report anything that looks out of place on the nightly log.
