Job summary

James Hardie is hiring a Production Clerk to support the Production Supervisor by managing critical production data and integrating with the accounting system to update and reconcile records. You will monitor staffing, track production output, and perform data-driven analysis in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of bookkeeping or clerical experience with ERP systems, strong analytical skills, and advanced MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or clerical experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and resolve issues.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including pivot tables, formulas, and data visuals.

Responsibilities

• Utilize accounting systems and spreadsheets to analyze production metrics (quantities, materials, scrap, defects, rates).
• Update and reconcile production and inventory records in the accounting system.
• Identify and report discrepancies to the Production Supervisor with actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing schedules and provide real-time progress updates.
• Perform data entry and routine clerical tasks with high accuracy.
