James Hardie in Ohio is seeking a meticulous Production Clerk to support the Production Supervisor by handling critical production data, reconciling records in the accounting system, and tracking line status. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience with ERP systems.

The ideal candidate will improve reporting accuracy, manage schedules, and contribute to operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. On-site work with potential bonuses is available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or clerical experience with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) with pivot tables and formulas.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and inventory management practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production metrics: quantities produced, materials used, scrap rates, defect frequency, and departmental rates.
• Maintain and reconcile production and inventory records within the accounting system.
• Identify and report discrepancies with actionable insights to the Production Supervisor.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing schedules for assigned areas.
• Monitor production progress and provide real-time updates for efficiency.
• Data entry and routine clerical tasks with high accuracy.
• Generate production labels and maintain accurate product data.
