Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a Process Engineer for a 12-month contract on the night shift. You will perform technical tests and experiments for process engineering, operate metrology tools, and work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues.

The role requires 3-4 years of semiconductor processing experience; proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication and problem-solving skills. Occasional travel to training facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years semiconductor processing experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook/Word/Excel).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starting with strong technical and hands-on abilities.
• Knowledge of EDS, EELS, PEELS, and STEM is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tests and experiments for Process Engineering.
• Prepare records, charts, and graphs of test results.
• Operate metrology tools (TEM, Dual Beam, light microscopes, sputtering) to qualify process equipment.
• Adjust hardware/software parameters to correct issues or execute experiments.
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot process problems.
• Perform minor electrical or mechanical troubleshooting on equipment.
• Perform preventative and unscheduled maintenance on process equipment.
• Operate Dual Beam (SEM and FIB), TEM, light microscopes, deposition equipment, and metrology tools.
• Change/adjust software parameters for differing experiments.
• Work closely with engineering teams.
• Assist in making process related diagrams/graphs.
• Write procedures and training materials.
