Lam Research is seeking an Engineering Technician III for a night shift in Tualatin, OR. You will assemble, test, and troubleshoot semiconductor process modules within a fast-paced R&D environment, contributing to manufacturing readiness and product quality.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years of related experience, strong English communication, and proficiency with data systems and MS Office. You will work a Wednesday–Friday night schedule with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifikationen

• 2-4 years of related work experience.
• Firsthand experience with installation, maintenance, repair, testing, or troubleshooting of equipment or electronics.
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal, in English.
• Proficient in utilizing computer-based data systems, applications, and Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to work a shift schedule.

Aufgaben

• Assemble, integrate, and test developmental semiconductor process modules and subsystems.
• Work through incomplete procedures and evolving product designs, offering solutions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and integration issues during assembly and testing.
• Identify issues impacting product performance or manufacturability.
• Collaborate with engineers to investigate issues and implement solutions.
• Participate in prototype builds, engineering evaluations, qualification activities, and manufacturing readiness.
• Create and maintain issue logs and other required documentation.
• Suggest work instruction improvements through logs and engineering partnerships.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Contribute to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity improvements.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.
• Escalate issues requiring deeper technical expertise.
