Job summary

The Marzetti Company is seeking an entry-level night-shift packer to handle bread packing duties and line duties in a fast-paced production area. You will follow supervisor instructions, maintain product quality, and support a safe food production environment.

The role requires standing for 8 hours, lifting up to 15 lbs, and working a weekend schedule as needed. Team collaboration and adherence to GMP guidelines are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with supervisor and other employees regarding production requirements and mechanical concerns.
• Must show up on time and work weekends as scheduled.
• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds to a height of approx. 72".
• Perform a variety of bending, stretching and twisting motions for the pack line.
• Must be able to perform essential job requirements without accommodation.
• Ability to work independently and with others and remain productive at all times.

Responsibilities

• Reaching, bending, and stretching to lift, handle, and inspect product.
• Maintain production pace and meet specifications.
• Inform supervisor of deviations from product specifications.
• Monitor equipment function and report safety concerns.
• Lifting up to 15 lbs to 72" as needed.
• Work as part of a team in close quarters.
