Job summary

CANPACK Group in Lackawanna County, PA seeks a Maintenance Specialist to oversee control environments for washers, can washing equipment, and wastewater systems. You will perform basic lab tests (pH, titration, conductivity) and operate pumps, pH controllers, and tank level sensors while coordinating repair tasks and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include line and lab support, documenting problems, maintaining logbooks, and ensuring safety with PPE and MSDS guidance.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree preferred.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all process equipment to meet and establish production demands.
• Perform laboratory testing on POTW permit parameters (pH, COD, Fluorides, Mn).
• Oversee and perform basic mechanical repairs on pumps, mixers and sensors.
• Troubleshoot wash and wastewater changes and respond with chemical/process adjustments.
• Maintain awareness of line issues, process settings, and quality.
